Elayne led a very full life.  In High School she was as a Majorette on the Drill Team, an avid piano player, and a very well-known cliff diver. After graduating from Charleston WV High School, she went on to Shepherd University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Philosophy and Religon. Elayne traveled abroad to Japan as a Foreign Exchange Student and taught English with her husband Tom for several years in Iran.  She retired after a 30+ year career in Newspaper and Magazine advertising, including 11 years at the Wylie News, and most recent role as Advertising Sales Manager at Senior News.  Elayne enjoyed spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, gardening, and watching a beautiful sunset.  She cherished spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog Holly.  To know Elayne was to love her. She had a heart of gold and touched many lives. She will be greatly missed.
