JOYCEANN (HATCHER) WHITE , 79, of Ripley, WV, formerly of Charleston and Saint Albans, WV passed away on May 16, 2023 surrounded by her family at Mountain View Care Center, Ripley, WV.
She was born January 5, 1944, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late William Erwin and Agnes (Boggess) Hatcher. She was also preceded in death by brothers, John, William "Pean", James "Bub" and Charles Hatcher; infant sister, Betty.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and flowers. She attended the Ripley Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances Ann (Steve) Clark of Hurricane, Valera J. White of Ripley and Christa L. (Eric) Whitacre of Ripley; son, William Michael White of Milton; sister, Juanita Hanson of Hurricane; grandchildren, Zach (Chelsea), Victoria "Tori" (Jesse), Jordan, Taylor, Nick, Ayla, Erin (Mason), Ethan; great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Allison, Walker and Wyatt with several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside burial and service will be in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck, WV. Arrangements provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's or Dementia foundation of your choice.
